[几何] 请教:一道圆锥曲线的题寻求几何做法!

由圆(x-4)^2+y^2=4上的动点P向圆(X+1)^2+Y^2=1作两条切线分别交Y轴于A,B两点,求|AB|的取值范围.(暴力的算法已经OK,求几何味重的解法!此题凭直觉应该有几何做法!谢谢先!)

这题不正是广二模的倒数第二题吗?
已知圆C半径为1和圆D的半径为2,两圆圆心距为5,过圆C与连心线CD的交点N作垂线l,P为圆D上一动点,过P作圆C的两条切线l_1,l_2,切线l_1,l_2交垂线l于A,B两点,求线段AB的取值范围。
