Tips and shortcuts for better browsing
What’s new in Chrome (chrome://whats-new/)

Automatically open a set of pages on Chrome startup
  • At the top right, click More
    .
  • Click Settings.
  • Under “On Startup,” click Open a specific page or set of pages.

Google Lens uses images instead of words to help you search. You can find similar items to shop, identify plants and animals, search for the image source, and so much more.
  • Right-click on an image.
  • Click Search image with Google Lens.
  • See results in the side panel of your browser.
  • Search the full image or part of the image.

Present mode gives you a full-screen view of PDFs in your browser, making it easier to focus on details, read books and manuals, and present to others.
  • Open a PDF in your browser.
  • Go to the PDF viewer menu
    .
  • Click Present.

Take the worry out of accidentally closing all your open tabs at once
Customize “On startup” to automatically reopen all the same tabs you had open when you quit.
  • At the top right, click More
    > Settings.
  • Click On startup to display options.
  • Click Continue where you left off.

Use tab search to find your tabs faster
At the top of your Chrome window, click the tab search icon $\enclose{circle}{\style{font-size:70%}{∨}}$ to see a list of all your open Chrome tabs.

Try Copy link to highlight when sharing links. When a recipient opens your link, it will send them right to the part of the page you selected, instead of the top of the page.
  • Highlight the text you want to share.
  • Right-click and select Copy link to highlight.
  • Paste the link anywhere, like an email or message thread.
